Member Dispute Procedures

November 9th, 2007

Aloha Members,

It has recently come to our attention that two of our members have entered into a dispute. We take every customer complaint very seriously. And we intend to investigate both sides of the story. This complaint arose out of a break down in procedure. It is important that when you contact a company, to use their services, you identify yourself as a PCX member and you make sure that you are talking to the proper company representative, who deals with PCX transactions.

We don’t normally air disputes publicly and we intend to get both sides of the story before we take any further action. However, certain parties have chosen to lash out in anger at our employees and our company. It is important when entering a dissagreement that it be handled professionally and that every one remain committed to presenting the facts in a non threatining manner. And all parties should be committed to coming to a resolution that is acceptable to everyone involved and within the guidelines of the PCX rules.

PCX Tips #3

November 5th, 2007

Easy Steps for Success with PCX!

Get to know your trade broker so you can develop a close working relationship.

Call your broker at least once a week for updates. They are your best source for finding new products and services. Be sure to read your Hot List for new ideas and other details.

Focus on using your trade account for business purposes, especially those on-going long-term needs. Take action to get such purchases lined up for the year.

Any time you are getting a bid for new services, contact the PCX office to see if the person would be willing to do the work on trade. Even if they don’t join, they might be willing to do a one time trade for something they need. That way you aren’t restricted to trading them your services.

Get to know other members of the exchange. They are looking for the same thing you are - new business! They want to expand their business as much as they can, and they realize the exchange opens a “window of opportunity” for new business.

If you spend your PC$ for personal items, put the amount you budgeted for that back into your business. For example if you buy gifts over the holidays for your employees, family or significant other, and you had planned to spend a certain amount on those items in cash, put that amount back into your business. It is just as if you had taken a draw.

Look for ways to turn your PC$ back into cash. If you see an item which you think you can sell on e-bay, buy it and resell it for cash. Or maybe you have a show room, where you can display things for resale. It doesn’t have to be directly related to your business. As long as you have traffic that will see the item, you have an opportunity to make cash. And don’t be concerned with making a profit when you sell it. You already made a profit when you earned the PC$. Now you just want to turn them into cash.
