New from Island Life!

Island Life has 15 tickets to Kumu Kahua Theatre’s PELE MA.  Kumu Kahua is known for its plays about Hawaii, written by Hawaii’s playwrights, for Hawaii’s people.  PELE MA takes you on a fascinating journey through a series of humorous, thrilling, and sometimes bawdy stories based on Hawaiian legends.  The play runs Thur.-Sat. @ 8 pm, Sun. @ 2 pm through Feb. 10.  Tickets are $15/each.  Contact Debra at 674-9000 or islandlifehawaii@hawaii.rr.com.

Hope 2008 has started off on the right foot! May this year be everyone’s happiest and most successful yet!!
 
Just dropping a line to tell you all the wonderful news that the family is being represented by Island Art Gallery in several of their locations including the Hyatt Regency Waikiki and the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center! The Makk Family has introduced a new series of original oils and limited edition giclees depicting the Hawaii of years gone by as well as the beautiful Hawaii of today! 

 

 

A.B. will be painting at the Island Art Gallery in the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center tomorrow evening, Friday, January 18th, starting from 6:30 pm. If you have some time, come on down to watch him paint. He is very talented and is able to paint and talk simultaneously! He may throw in a few jokes too! : )
